Hope in the midst of despair

From the heart of a war-torn country, we rose. Driven by our commitment to shape a brighter future for us and for our country, our mother company was founded in 1983 in Beirut as Hammoud Establishment for Paper.

Climbing the ladder of success

In 1993, the company, renamed Hammoud Inter Trade Company (HITACO), established its solid organizational structure that allowed it to expand tremendously and become one of the top-ranked paper and board suppliers in Lebanon.

New name for new ventures ahead

Since 2003, the company has never ceased to grow. Under the name of Mustafa Hammoud & Co (MHCO), it has embarked on new ventures, making its entrance to the markets in Iraq, Jordan, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Congo and Nigeria, with more than 25,000 tons of paper turnover per year.

Wise knowledge, fresh blood

Nearly forty years after its establishment, MHCO launches its daughter company, Hammoud International Paper Sal (HIPCO), that is run with new blood to keep pace with the increasingly growing and changing demands of the industry.
